Micro managing contractors and subcontractors is not a solution, it is an unfortunate necessity that I do not relish. I am constantly watching what the contractors I use are doing and how well they are doing it. When I have the opportunity to work with a company that performs well I am afforded the ability to manage the project at a higher level which leaves me more time to complete all the other aspects of the project.
